All About Community

community objectives

We are passionate about building a business that is centred around community. We strive to:

  • Improve our team’s experience by offering activities outside of the workplace that contribute to the community and environment
  • Contribute to our local community through engagement and fundraising
  • Improve morale, create community, and make a positive impact
  • Create a business that our teams are proud to work for

Successful & Sustainable

deal for business

Interact’s Deal for Business accreditation sees us working with Wigan Council to create an economy that is both successful and sustainable, promoting opportunity, growth and innovation. This includes a sustainability pledge, including carbon-footprint reduction and Net Zero Carbon. Through this partnership, we are also able to offer our teams council-supported services and volunteer opportunities including physical, financial, and mental wellbeing support.

Charity Partnerships

our community programme

Interact’s community programme has already raised tens of thousands of pounds including support for mental-health charities and for young people and carers. During 2024, Interact has partnered with Cancer Research UK, Andy’s Man Club, Therapy Dogs Nationwide, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and The Brick – supporting both local and national charities that are close to our hearts. We’re hugely proud of our teams’ community efforts, which have already picked up multiple prestigious awards along the way!
